The PBA Tournament of Champions field has been narrowed down to the final five. They will bowel for the title on Sunday. Let’s find out who made the final cut and how they got there.

Anthony Simonsen is your top seed for the stepladder. he averaged over 225, while finish match play at 15-7-1. This allowed him to jump from third place after one round of match play to the top seed at its conclusion.

EJ Tackett is the second seed. He also finished match play with a 15-7-1 record. Matt Ogle earned the number three seed for the stepladder. He was the leader after the first round of match play, but fell to third after going 13-10 overall in match play.

Marshall Kent took the fourth spot. He led the first two qualifying rounds and then fell to fourth during match play.

The final spot was taken by Jason Sterner. He finished ahead of challenges from Eric Jones and Brad Millar to secure the final spot in the stepladder.

Jason Belmonte finished 14th and won’t be defending his title.

Simonsen, Tackett, Ogle and Sterner however all made the finals of this event last year and look to lock horns again. With Tackett being the winner of the past two events, can he add a third in a row? If he can it would be his second major this season and really put him in a good position to repeat as player of the year.

It’s the last major tournament of the season and the finals take place on Sunday April 28th, 2024, at 1 PM.
