Slate three of MLW has come to a close. So let’s see where each team ranks after nine games.
8. Gators
The Gators are tied for the worst overall record in MLW. They were also swept in their most recent series. This put them two games behind both the Mallards and Eagles and in a good position to miss the playoffs.
7. Predators
The Preds are having a rough year. But still are only a game behind the Cobras. They still have the head-to-head series against them too, which could see them jump over them in the standings.
6. Cobras
The defending American League champs just aren’t quite getting it done. Especially at the plate. They need to win the series over the Preds to get into the playoffs. I could see them just as easily win that series as I could see them lose it.
5.Eagles
Eagles looked to be headed for disappointment this season. However, a sweep over the Cobras has this team headed in the right direction. Not having to play the Mallards and Diamondbacks in the second half should also help too.
4.Mallards
The Mallards are underachieving a bit so far this season. Though they did shine in the Philly Series taking two of three from the Predators. Though with a second half schedule with the Diamondbacks and Gators it could lead to some trouble heading into playoffs.
3. Wildcats
A 6-3 record is solid, even if they did lose to the Magic in that series. Though I would say don’t sleep on this team as I feel if you forget them, they will come out of nowhere and win it all.
2.Magic
A lot of people weren’t sure how the Magic would look with a brand-new team. Well, this brand-new team is at the top of American League standings at the break. They passed a tough test against the Wildcats and showed this team is for real.
1.Diamondbacks
The defending champs are in great form with a big sweep over the Gators. With the best record in the division and MLW as a whole they look to cruise in the second half.
