Sharks win 2024 Draft Lottery

Yesterday the NHL held their draft lottery. The San Jose Sharks won the right to the first pick after having the best odds of landing the top pick. Chicago won the second pick after drafting first overall in 2023. Anaheim ended up with the third overall pick, while Columbus got pick number four. Montreal has pick five, while Utah takes pick six.

The Sharks also go the number 14 pick from the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The draft takes place on June 28-29, 2024, at the Sphere in Las Vegas.

The lottery for the first pick in the 2024 NHL draft takes place today. 16 teams have a shot at landing the first pick, with the San Jose Sharks having the best odds at 18.5% followed by the Chicago Blackhawks at 13.5% and Anaheim Ducks at 11.5%. Which team will get the first pick this time around? Will Chicago get to pick first for the second year in a row?
